  1. JOB SUMMARY: The Sanitation Lead have to walk trough out the plant to inspect for any areas that need to be work on, the lead let the employees know their duties for the day, The leaders are in charge of giving training to every new employee on the floor to make a job more effective and safe for further specific training leaders will need to bring them upfront to the Sanitation Manager.
  1. DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
  • Practice proper GMPs and Food Safety.
  • The Sanitation Lead is expected to arrive at their schedule time.
  • Make sure their employees are required to be present and dressed in require Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Inspect all areas documented on Pre-Op and assign the job to Sanitation Tech.
  • Clean Equipment based on Sanitation Standard Operational Procedure (SSOP).
  • Reviewing their employees finished job.
  • Support new associates by assisting with training on correct processes and procedures.
  1. KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Must be able to read and understand written operating procedures.
  • Knows how to operate all equipment after proper training.
  • Knows Disassemble and assemble equipment
  • Must be able to read and understand all sections of an SDS document.
  • Knows General Safety.
  • Knows LOTO Lock-Out/Tag-Out Informationafter proper training.
  • Knows Sanitation Standard Operational Procedures.
  • Knows Hazard communication.
  • Supervisory ability.
  • Ability to perform difficult duties.
  1. MINIMUN EDUCATIONAL OR TRAINING REQUIREMENT:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  1. OTHER SKILL REQUIRED:
  • Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Safety requirement per OSHA standards.
  1. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
  • Reporting directly to the Sanitation Manager and indirectly to the Plant Manager.
  1. PHISICAL REQUIEREMENT:
  • Standing for 8 or more hours, in different spot, per shift
  • Lifting up to 50lbs as needed/required
  • Pushing and/or pulling heavy equipment
  • Use of a manual hand jack
  • Use of hand shrink wrap rolls
  • Ability to work in close proximity with others
  • Split off days due to plant shut down on weekends
  • Ability to work in close contact with hot water on wash down of equipment and floors.
